Free Tuesday Evening Coaching with Mickey Stainthorpe & Adam Watson

Hopefully everyone is getting to know how Tuesday evenings Free Adult Coaching works by now… Basically, you pay normal entry price but get to spend the evening getting top tips and advice from some of the very best climbing coaching in the country! Our coaches Mickey Stainthorpe and Adam Watson are happy to help with anything you might want to ask them and love any excuse to get on the wall and demo the problems! They usually try and get round everyone to say hello and offer some advice, but don’t be shy to approach them and introduce yourselves first. Likewise, you can simply come down and climb as usual if you don’t fancy any coaching tips.

Summer Half Term Children’s Lessons: 1st – 11th June

Why not book your children onto one of our extra Rockstars Lessons over the holidays? Or bring them down any day and supervise yourself. It’ll keep them out of mischief for at least an hour!

• 3 – 7 Years 12pm / 5pm £5 per session including equipment
• 7 – 12 years 1pm / 6pm £10 per session including equipment

Thursday 7th June
• 3 – 7 Years 12pm / 5pm £5 per session including equipment
• 7 – 12 years 1pm / 6pm £10 per session including equipment

Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions including Junior Academy will run as normal throughout the holidays.

With summer weather already upon us we though what better way to celebrate than by creating our very own DCC garden! We know it can get pretty hot out the back so by opening up the space behind the fire exit you’ll have somewhere to relax in the fresh air in between climbs...

quirky new problems!

Just a heads up as to what we have in store this year for our Annual Summer Fun Day 2012! Lined up for the event in 2012 we have as our star attraction the wonderful Scales and Tails Animal Encounters, bringing a selection of furry and beasty animals in their petting zoo including a selection from lizards, chinchilla, tortoise, rabbits, guinea pigs , syrian, dwarf, chinese and russian hamsters, African pygmy hedgehog, cockroaches, stick insects, milliepede, whites tree frog, and many more.....!

There will be climbing offers, face painting, a bouncy castle, BBQ and even a visit from Foster Cares Mobile Camper Van as Durham Climbing Centre supports their Fostering Campaign in 2012! More details to follow - pop the date in your diary this is one family day out not to be missed!
