Only a few days to go until the Summer Boulder Challenge Round 4 opens.. and everyone's last chance to improve their score before we mark the end of the event on Friday 31st August from 6pm with an evening of prize giving, raffle, free supper and fun problems!
Round 3 closed last night and with all scores currently up to date, we have a new leader on the board in the Senior Male category Em Rickinson! Hot on Em's heels are Ollie baker and Aiden Beveridge… it's all still to play for in Round 4!
In the Male Vets category, Martin Parker storms ahead after completing every single problem to date, only dropping the flash two or three times! It couldn't be closer for second place between James Pollard and John Poffley in this super strong category!
In the ladies categories, Natalia Wasielka storms ahead followed by Christine Candeland, and it's great to see more females on the board picking up points as they embark on their first Summer Boulder Challenge.
The Youth Event is being led by Joseph McGrother with an impressive clean sweep on every round. The leading female Alina Kendal has put in a solid performance for the top spot. Juniors are welcome to come along to mark the end of Summer Boulder Challenge for pick up certificates and prizes for their participation.
Remember you can drop a round, so if you score higher in the last round than any of the previous three rounds, you can drop your lowest score! Of course, it's all about the taking part and anyone regardless of score can win the star raffle prize current on display in reception! The climbing goody bag includes a pair of Scarpa climbing shoes, Friction Labs chalk, Boot Banana's and load more goodies! Come along on 31st August for fun problems, freee supper and raffle to mark the end of the event and have a go at scooping the top prize!
