Mammut Climbax Demo - The Worlds First Climbing Tracker
Record and analyse your climbs, compare your performance with other athletes and monitor your own progress. Climbax includes two wristbands equipped with high-precision.
Track your climbs, boost your motivation.
Climbax records parameters, including meters of vertical, number of climbing movements, use of right versus left hand, effective climbing time and breaks. Afterwards, you can analyse your performance stats in the Mammut Climb app on your smartphone. You can also compete in challenges with other climbers.
Impact Route Setting bring the climbing challenges!
Impact Route Setting is comprised of two co-founders; Ben Norman and Cailean Harker. Between them, they have over 15 years of professional route setting experience, including head setter roles for some of the most highly regarded walls in the country and setting for national events.
Impact Route Setting also run route setting courses and workshops, providing movement-based, creative route setting guidance to a huge range of participants, from total novices to experienced head setters. Impact have been approached by the Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) to develop and provide the official UK pathway for route setting, likely to be the nationally recognised pathway for route setting in the next few years.
Durham Climbing Centre have employed Impact Route setting and their setting team to look after all of our route setting. We are thrilled to have their experience and quality route setting here at Durham Climbing Centre.
