Front Desk Receptionist / Climbing Coach – Full Time & Part Time
As the first point of contact to customers and potential customers, you will be responsible for looking after the reception areas and attending to the needs of the customer. As a passionate climber and coach, you will deliver climbing sessions to a range of centre users.
Candidates should have a passion for providing excellent customer service, be friendly and approachable and have a sound knowledge of the climbing industry. This is an opportunity to shape decisions in the centre and be part of a passionate team.
Renumeration – Above NLW & dependant on experience
Hours of work: Weekly rota to include daytimes, evenings and weekends.
Academy Coach – Part Time
Durham Climbing Centre is the market leader for youth climbing coaching in the North East.
Durham Climbing Centre has an extensive and well established coaching programme for children. At the helm of the youth coaching framework is the DCC Youth Academy encompassing two teams offering an eentry level and intermediate progression for talented young climbers. Academy team members attend regular weekly coaching sessions with the aim of preparing for competitions and competing regionally, nationally, and internationally.
A pro-active and positive approach is required for the role, and a desire to bring fresh ideas and practices to the centre. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and motivated to unleash each individual’s potential.
You must be an experienced climber, competent is all disciplines of sport climbing and have experience of climbing indoors and outdoors.

Hours of work: Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings
Housekeeper – Part Time
Durham Climbing Centre is a modern and vibrant centre. Cleanliness and hygiene is paramount to our customer and staff experience. We are seeking an experienced and professional housekeeper with high standards of cleaning.
Salary – Above NLW & dependant on experience
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 7am - 9am
