Our Youth Climbing Team have travelled across the region representing Durham Climbing Centre and the North East and Lakes Climbing Team to compete in 4 regional rounds hosted by the British Mountaineering Council!
The BMC Youth Climbing Series is the largest junior climbing competition in the UK!
We are so proud of team members who have achieved a whopping 35 podium places between them and securing their place in the grand final!
Now our team are heading to Southampton to compete regionally against the best junior climbers in the UK in a 2 day lead climbing and bouldering event!
As the climbing competition calendar catches up after many events have bene postponed due to the pandemic, two of our older team members have entered the Junior British Bouldering Championships which is taking place only the 1 week apart from the Youth Climbing Series Finals on Saturday the 4th and 5th of December at Norwich!
