A children’s party at Durham Climbing Centre is an excellent way for your child to enjoy fun and physical activity with their friends.
What's Included?
Durham Climbing Centre offers a 2 Hour Party Package including:
- Use of the junior climbing wall and qualified instructors for one and a half hours. Fully supervised activities with your friendly party hosts.
- Equipment hire including shoes and chalk
- Use of the party room (optional) for half hour after the party
Cost
Party for up to 8 children £100
Party for up to 16 children £200
Minimum age: 3 years

Durham Climbing Centre’s Children’s Policy requires that all children under 18 must have a signed parental consent form in order to participate.
What happens at a children’s party at Durham Climbing Centre?
The children will begin by warming up then move onto the climbing wall where they will learn some climbing techniques, play climbing games and challenge each other in party games and challenges! The group will then move upstairs for a party tea in our function room.
Durham Climbing Centre provides tables and chairs in the party room. If you wish to decorate the room you can come and do this beforehand.
Catering and prices
If you require use of the party room, there is an option of bringing your own food or allowing us arrange it for you. The function room is included in the price, although there is no obligation to use it.
If Durham Climbing Centre arranges the catering*:
- Paninis & toasties (selection of ham or cheese)
- Margarita pizza
- Sausage rolls
- Carrot, celery and cucumber crudités
- Crisps
- Cakes
- Mini muffins
- Juice
- Fruit platter – a selection of fresh fruit
