On Friday 14th December we hosted the BMC Route Setting workshop led by Ian Dunn and attended by team DCC Coaches.
Creating interesting problems for climbers to practice techniques in climbing and offer a range of problems for different abilities, gender, height, style etc is paramount to route setting at DCC.
Our team of coaches worked together on the latest orange set of problems. Coaches are really interested to hear your constructive feedback on the problems set. Many of the problems are tailored towards younger and shorter climbers as we practiced setting for children. Come on down and try them out!
